








Fox & Geese
The newest in our range of tradtional games, Fox & Geese dates back to Medieval times. It’s a game for two players, with one taking the part of the thirteen geese and the other playing the fox. The aim of the game? The geese must try to trap the fox, while the fox must capture enough geese so that he cannot be trapped. Who will win out?
Each game contains:
13 ‘geese’ pieces, cut from hazel from a susainably-managed coppice site in central Scotland
1 ‘Fox’, cut from the same hazel and then hand carved and painted
screenprinted canvas playing board, approximately 15cm x 15cm
postcard with game instructions
Game pieces are made from coppiced hazel sticks - a totally renewable resources - from sites in Central Scotland. You can find out more about coppicing here.
