Learn to make your very own container out of wood in this shrink pot workshop with Craig. Shrink pots are made from hollowing a freshly cut log and then fitting a dry wooden base so that, as the log dries, it shrinks around the base. Magic! And a technique that’s been used throughout history for everything from liquids to spices to trinkets.

In this half-day workshop, you’ll learn safe hollowing techniques and how to fit the dry base, as well as making a lid that will fit your new container.

This workshop is aimed at beginners, aged 14+.
