Join Coin-Operated Press to discover all the ways in which we can add botanical elements to our zines! Never made a zine before? Never even heard of a zine before? Wondering what the heck we're talking about?! Come along and discover the wonderful world of zine-making! We will show off some botanical-inspired zines from our collection so you can get a good idea of what zines are all about! We will have a selection of pressed flowers, some foraged leaves and flowers from my garden, as well as all the equipment we'll need to capture our botanicals! We will go through all of the steps to press plants, print plants, stick plants, and more! and we will then fold mini-zines to use as mini-sketchbooks to explore and play with these new techniques! Please note: if you have hayfever, or allergies to any plants/botanical elements - this event might not be for you as we will be using real plants in our zine-making! or make sure to take an antihistamine before attending.

This workshop is aimed all levels of experience and all ages; if you’re under 16, please bring a responsible adult with you!
