If you want to learn traditional skills, use your hands, and create something wonderful, this one-day introduction to blacksmithing is for you! We'll use a charcoal-powered forge, using charcoal we make on site, to create the heat we need, and you'll learn some some key basic techniques, including lighting and maintaining the fire, tapering, bending, and twisting. Throughout the day, you'll make a poker and a hook, which you'll get to take away with you, along with the skills you've learned.
