Join contemporary jeweller Jo Pudelko and discover how jewellers preserve tiny treasures by casting them into lasting keepsakes.
We'll begin with a short wander around site, gathering a small collection of naturally fallen leaves, seed heads, bark, grasses and other interesting textures. Back at the workshop, you'll use your finds to create a unique cast piece in Jesmonite, a modern casting material. Your finished piece can be worn as a pendant, kept as a talisman, or simply treasured as a reminder of your day.
Along the way, you'll discover how the same principles are used by jewellers to cast objects in silver, bronze and gold, and explore how found objects can inspire contemporary jewellery.
No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
