Miniature baskets with Suzee

  • Green Aspirations Scotland CIC Dykehead, Scotland, FK8 3JY United Kingdom (map)

Learn to weave a miniature basket from foraged plants. These tiny pots are made from dandelion, iris, soft rush and other plants you will find growing wild or in your garden. You will learn about suitable materials to collect for future endeavours, how to store and prepare them and be able to take home a miniature basket you will make yourself.

This workshop is aimed at teenagers (12+) and adults, beginners and improvers.

Allergy advice: some people do present skin irritation when handling dandelions, daffodils and other plants. The plants we are working with have all been dried and contain very little of the natural sap (which is the cause of irritation) but caution is advised for those with known reactions.
