In this full-day workshop, you will create a custom-fit, functional basket designed to carry your favorite water (or wine!) bottle. This project is a fantastic entry point for absolute beginners to learn the principles of making a basket from start to finish on a project that isn't too big or overwhelming. For improvers, it offers a chance to experiment with more complex weaving patterns, different border techniques, and a variety of willow types.

The day is open-ended and skills-focused; our goal is to complete at least one carrier, with the opportunity to make a second if your pace allows. To finish your piece, we will add a riveted hemp strap, turning your basket into a comfortable, over-the-shoulder accessory ready for immediate use.

What to Bring: Please bring the specific bottle you intend to weave for. It will stay inside the basket as you work to act as a guide for the size and shape, as well as providing a weight to keep your basket steady as you weave.
