About the Event

Join us for this one-day course in the woods and learn how to make your very own wooden spoon with an axe, knife and spoon knife. You’ll be guided through every step of the process from choosing your wood to designing your spoon, learning the techniques your need as you go. No experience is necessary, but if you’d like to learn some of the skills used in this course before carving a spoon, then book a space on one of our Introduction to Green Woodworking days first.

Workshop programme You'll arrive on site by 10am, and be directed to our workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. All wood and tools are provided. The day finishes by 4pm.  Please bring food and drink for the day with you.

Cancellation policy We do have to cancel events from time to time, usually for safety reasons in bad weather or when there is a weather warning. If we do have to cancel, we'll give as much notice as possible. We'll also refund the value of the booking, seek a suitable placement on a similar event or rearrange the date of the event. If you have to cancel, please tell us as far in advance as possible. If you let us know at least 7 days in advance, we'll refund your booking.
