Knifecraft

When did we stop whittling? Well, some of us didn't of course! If you want to find out what the fuss is about, this one-day workshop will show you. You'll learn a range of knife skills and build confidence throughout the day, so you can put them to use making chopsticks, butter spreaders, wands and even a skulk of foxes. We'll also show you how to keep your tools sharp, so you'll be able to put your new-found expertise to use on future projects. As with all our courses, you can take home what you make at the end of the day, and show them off to family and friends.

Workshop programme You'll arrive on site by 10am, and be directed to workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. All wood and tools are provided. The day finishes by 4pm. Please bring food and drink for the day.

Cancellation policy We do have to cancel events from time to time, usually for safety reasons in bad weather or when there is a weather warning. If we do have to cancel, we'll give as much notice as possible. We'll also refund the value of the booking, seek a suitable placement on a similar event or rearrange the date of the event. If you have to cancel, please tell us as far in advance as possible. If you let us know at least 7 days in advance, we'll refund your booking.
