About the Event
If you want to learn new skills, use your hands, and create something wonderful, this one-day course exploring the traditions of green woodworking is for you. You'll learn about the characteristics of different species of wood and then make something you can take home and keep - a mallet, spatula or whittling stick! You'll get your hands on a wide range of tools, and learn basic skills to develop for more complex projects.
Workshop programme You'll arrive by 10am, and be directed to workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. All wood and tools are provided. The day finishes by 4pm. Please bring food and drink with you for the day; you are welcome to cook over the campfire. We provide tea and coffee throughout the day.
